As a retired professional and collegiate Division-I volleyball player, Angelina understand the demands of an athlete. Often, an athletes schedule become increasingly filled with drill after drill, workout after grueling workout, tournaments, matches, games and playoffs. It is a common occurrence for mental and physical fatigue to set in leading to burnout.  Athletes are often promoted to be pushed to their edge, however you must find that right balance of challenge and accessibility to promote growth and success.

If you are a coach or athlete who's team feels stuck in the game, I encourage you to consider adding yoga, either on an individual or team level. Yoga is a proven method of strengthening the body, muscles, joints, flexibility, blood flow, balance, posture, and most of all, mind and athletic spirit.
“Yoga helps me calm down and helps me center my energy so I’m balanced instead of going out there and just spreading my energy all over the court. I’m zeroed in on the game and have my mind set on what I need to do.”
